At O O S T R L O O, we carefully prepare and package every order to ensure your artwork or interior piece arrives safely.

Because many of our products are handmade, fragile or produced in limited quantities, shipping times may vary slightly depending on the product and destination.


1 – SHIPPING WITHIN THE NETHERLANDS

We offer free shipping within the Netherlands on all orders unless stated otherwise.

Orders are typically processed within a few business days.

Once shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation and, where available, a tracking code.


2 – INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We ship internationally to selected countries.

For orders shipped outside the Netherlands:

  • additional shipping costs apply;
  • protective packaging and insurance costs may apply;
  • a custom wooden shipping box may be required for safe transport of fragile, valuable or large artworks.

For larger artworks or custom pieces, international shipping costs may be calculated separately after a shipping request or quotation.

These additional costs are calculated based on:

  • destination country;
  • package dimensions;
  • weight;
  • insurance requirements;
  • fragility of the product.

International customers are responsible for:

  • import duties;
  • customs fees;
  • local taxes;
  • additional charges imposed by local authorities or shipping carriers.

Certain international shipments may require insured transport to protect fragile or high-value artworks during transit.


3 – PROCESSING TIMES

Most orders are processed within 2–7 business days.

Made-to-order or handmade products may require additional preparation time.

Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed and may vary due to:

  • shipping carrier delays;
  • customs processing;
  • holidays;
  • weather conditions;
  • force majeure events.

4 – SHIPPING DAMAGE

We carefully package all products to minimize the risk of damage during transport.

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at:

info@oostrloo.com

Please include:

  • your order number;
  • photos of the product;
  • photos of the packaging;
  • a description of the damage.

We will review the situation and work toward an appropriate solution.


5 – LOST OR DELAYED SHIPMENTS

Once an order has been handed over to the shipping carrier, delivery responsibility transfers to the carrier.

O O S T R L O O is not liable for:

  • shipping delays;
  • lost packages caused by incorrect shipping information;
  • customs delays;
  • failed delivery attempts.

However, we will do our best to assist in resolving shipping issues where possible.


6 – ADDRESS ACCURACY

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.

If an order is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address, additional shipping charges may apply before the package can be resent.
